As part of the EMR Skills4You Interreg project, the Centre de Coopération Technique et Pédagogique is organising a series of 6 webinars aimed at teachers, educational coordinators and school leaders from secondary and higher education establishments. Join us for an inspiring, instructive and differentiated moment of reflection.

Webinar 1 : “Five principles for an effective differentiated instruction”.

The first webinar of the series will set the theoretical framework for differentiated instruction. Starting with the highly heterogeneous reality of today’s classes, we will look at how best to respond to this diversity. This will be an opportunity to clarify what differentiation is and to recall the 5 fundamental principles that govern effective differentiated teaching, based on research by the Universities of Maastricht and Twente.

These essential pedagogical principles will be used as a basis for more concrete examples in the subsequent webinars

However, differentiation is a team project that should involve everyone in the school. To develop a solid, coherent approach, we will look at the roles and responsibilities of each player, the need to rethink how classes are organised in terms of space and schedule, and the need for very practical training for teachers.
