The yearly Education Research Days (ORD) took place from 6 to 8 July 2022 at the University of Hasselt. During this Dutch speaking conference for educational research, Adriaan Vervoort presented the research results of a preliminary research that took place between May and July 2021 for Skills4You.
To make a strong start with the Skills4You project, it was important to first navigate the significantly changed educational landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools were still in lockdown, many teachers were teaching online or hybride lessons, and many students experienced problems in continuing their studies. We spoke to 42 teachers from the Euregion Meuse-Rhine to gain insight into the changed situation and locate the needs for support and future training in digital competency. The results of this research were publicly announced during the ORD-congress.
